Two sheets, S3 West and S3 East, known as Fairview Arena until a 2022 naming-rights deal
Loading public skate, freestyle, and stick & puck times for S3 Arenas…
S3 Arenas was Fairview Arena until September 2022, when the City of Swift Current sold the naming rights to S3 Group Ltd. for five years. The building holds two ice surfaces, S3 West and S3 East, and runs 365 days a year.
S3 West is a regulation 200-by-85-foot sheet on a concrete base, with six dressing rooms and upper-level seating that overlooks the ice; its seating and standing area holds 450 people. S3 East is smaller, at 185 by 85 feet, with room for 350 spectators.
In winter the arena is home to the AAA Innovation Credit Union Wildcats, Swift Current Minor Hockey and sledge hockey, along with tournaments; in summer it switches to lacrosse for the Swift Current Rampage and minor lacrosse. The east sheet, then Fairview East, got a new refrigeration header system, new boards and glass and a concrete pad in place of its old sand surface before the 2020-21 season. The lobby has a full concession.
