Home of the OJHL's Georgetown Raiders
The SportsPlex grew from a single arena built in 1975, which has since been expanded at least twice. That original rink is named for Gordon Alcott, who founded minor hockey in Georgetown in the 1930s. The Georgetown Gemini were founded as a Junior B team the same year.
Today it is a four-pad arena built to LEED Silver standards, with meeting rooms inside and a skatepark outside. The Gordon Alcott Arena is home to the Georgetown Raiders: the Gemini moved up to Junior A in 1993, when their league went Junior A and later became the Ontario Junior Hockey League, and took the Raiders name with the move. Its north side has six raised rows of bench seating with standing room behind, and the south wall carries the Raiders' 2016–17 Buckland Cup banner as OJHL champions alongside banners of the Halton Hills Bulldogs Junior B lacrosse team.
Outside the Fernbrook Rink, the Halton Hills Sports Hall of Fame keeps a display on the former Georgetown Memorial Arena, with seats and the original Zamboni from the 1923 arena.
