A single-pad Don Mills arena completed in 1960 and run with the Civitan club

The Don Mills Civitan Arena at 1030 Don Mills Road was completed in 1960 and is also recorded as the Don Mills Sports Centre. Crang & Boake designed it in a mid-century expressionist style, and it has a single ice pad. The Don Mills Civitan Hockey League runs its house league from an office in the arena, and in 2016 the Civitan club said it had operated programs at the site for 60 years and served over 500 families.

City staff described the arena in 2014 as a regional facility drawing hockey organizations and members from across Toronto. The Greater Toronto Hockey League and the North York Hockey League scheduled home games out of the building on behalf of their teams.

The site has been slated for replacement for years. Under a 2010 agreement with Cadillac Fairview, the city leases the land until October 31, 2020, after which a new arena must be built. In 2016 staff recommended relocating it to the former Celestica site at 844 Don Mills Road, and a 2019 report proposed negotiating an extension of the Civitan arena while that replacement is constructed.
