Home of the Salmonbellies since 1930

Queen's Park Arena is a 3,500-seat multi-use arena inside Queen's Park. It was built in 1930 and opened on September 19. The New Westminster Bruins of the Western Hockey League played here in 1971-81 and 1983-88, and in 1967 the arena held a session of the British Columbia Legislative Assembly.

Lacrosse defines the building. The arena is famous for its lacrosse teams, Mann Cups and unique wooden floor, and it has hosted the Mann Cup Finals 21 times, the first in 1933 and the latest in 2025. Every summer the ice goes and the arena is converted into a lacrosse facility.

The City runs it for ice hockey, lacrosse, minor sports associations, tournaments and special events, and the Recreation Facilities Association of BC gave it the 2020 Bill Woycik Outstanding Facility Award.
