City of Winnipeg arena with seating for 561, home ice of the junior B North Winnipeg Satelites
Billy Mosienko Arena is a City of Winnipeg arena on Keewatin Street, one of the 12 indoor arenas the City operates. Its single ice surface measures 85 by 200 feet, and the building has seating for 561, four change rooms and viewing stands.
The arena is home ice for the North Winnipeg Satelites, a junior "B" team founded in 1980. The Satelites won their league title five times in the 1980s, in 1983, 1985, 1986, 1988 and 1989, and finished second at the 1985 Keystone Cup in Nipawin, Saskatchewan. They played in the Keystone Junior Hockey League until 2018, when they were one of five teams that left to form the Capital Region Junior Hockey League, where they still play.
