A Massachusetts DCR public rink that FMC Ice Sports has operated since 1992, home ice of the Tri-County Saints
The Asiaf Skating Arena is a Commonwealth of Massachusetts public ice skating facility, overseen by the Department of Conservation and Recreation. It is part of the DCR rink system, which the agency's predecessors developed during the 1960s and 1970s into the largest publicly owned ice rink system in the United States, 42 community facilities across the Commonwealth.
FMC Ice Sports has operated the arena for DCR since 1992, the year the company was formed for the sole purpose of managing public ice skating arenas. Since June 2002 FMC has run twenty-one DCR arenas, Asiaf among them, on 25-year capital improvement leases.
The home program is the Tri-County Saints, a non-profit youth hockey organization that fields teams from Learn-To-Skate through Midget. Around the Saints, FMC runs public skating, Learn to Skate, figure skating and club ice at Asiaf.
