Two NHL-size sheets on North Street, home ice for Canton High School and Curry College hockey since 2016.
No public skating is posted for the next 7 days. New sessions show here as soon as the rink posts them.
Canton Ice House opened in September 2016, with its grand opening over Labor Day weekend less than a year after construction began. The private two-rink building went from approval to completion in just over a year, on North Street near the Canton–Stoughton border.
Both sheets are NHL size, 85 by 200 feet, with stadium seating, and balconies on the mezzanine give a second view of the ice. The café sits upstairs between the rinks, where you can watch either one away from the cold. The red rink carries a Canton logo at center ice and has more seating than the otherwise identical blue rink.
Canton Youth Hockey and Canton High School get first call on the red rink, and in the first season the other major tenants included Westwood High School, Blue Hills Regional, the Boston Junior Huskies and Xaverian Brothers. Curry College's men's team moved here for the 2019-20 season. Each week brings more than 35 games and over 100 practices.
