A 60 m Olympic-size rink in Erina Fair, built in 2004
Erina Ice Arena was built in 2004 on the Central Coast of New South Wales, about five minutes from some of the region's beaches. Its ice is Olympic-sized, 60 m by 30 m, with room for figure, speed, synchronised, curling and ice hockey, and the grandstand holds 500 spectators. The rink closed for building works in August 2019 and reopened in January 2021 under new owners.
The Central Coast Rhinos, a team in the Australian Ice Hockey League, use it as their home rink, with ticketed games through the season. The arena also runs the Central Coast In-House League for local players, with a winter season from April to September and a summer season from October to March. The Central Coast Figure Skating Club is also based here, linking local skaters to state and national associations.
