The Blackhawks' four-rink practice home

Fifth Third Arena, known as MB Ice Arena before 2019 and now Blackhawks Ice Center, is the Chicago Blackhawks' practice facility and community ice rink, two blocks south of the United Center. Before it opened, the team practiced at the Edge Ice Arena in Bensenville.

The building has four NHL-size sheets. USG Arena holds more than 2,000, three rinks have raised seating with extra viewing behind the top bleachers and near the glass, all have ADA-friendly boards, and one has synthetic ice beside the rink for sled hockey.

It is home to the Chicago Mission AAA program, the Chicago Stallions youth hockey organization and Saint Ignatius College Prep club hockey, and from the 2026-27 season the USHL's Chicago Steel will play their home games in USG Arena. Its 60612 program gives local residents access to designated spaces in the facility.
