Built in 2000, home of the Dundee Stars

Dundee Ice Arena was constructed in 2000, and its opening marked the return of the Dundee Tigers to their home ground. The Tigers won the Scottish National League title in the 2000/01 season before audiences often exceeding 1,200.

The Dundee Stars were established in the 2001/02 season and chose the arena as their home ground, moving up to the top-tier Elite Ice Hockey League from 2010/11. A full house of 2,400 watched their match against Fife Flyers on 22 February 2020, and the Dundee Rockets, the city's local amateur club, play here too.

The arena is also the base for Ice Dundee, renowned for nurturing some of the UK's finest figure skaters. In 2018 it hosted the 7th WUKF World Karate Championships, with the ice rink temporarily transformed into a suitable platform.
