A Skate UK rink shared with curling and hockey clubs

The ice rink at Moray Leisure Centre is a recognised British Ice Skating Skate UK Learn to Skate facility, and it is home to local figure skating, ice hockey and curling clubs alongside its public sessions and lessons.

Moray Juniors Ice Hockey Club was formed in 1992 and runs a Learn to Play session for new players. A team representing RAF Lossiemouth also plays here, with plenty of non-service players in its ranks. Caledonia Ice Skating Club teaches every discipline from hockey skating to synchro and ice dance, and Moray Figure Skating Club, based at the rink, hosts shows, competitions and events.

Curling has its own community in the building: Moray Province covers 20 clubs, classified as Area 13 of the Royal Caledonian Curling Club, and the centre holds Try Curling sessions for people aged 8 and over.
