A bandy hall opened in November 2007

Ale Arena is a bandy hall in Bohus, in Ale kommun, which went by the working name Bandyhuset. It was opened on 17 November 2007 with an Allsvenskan bandy match in which Ale-Surte BK beat Tjust BK 8-7 in front of 1,311 spectators.

The hall measures 75 by 122 metres, with a ceiling 16 metres high at its highest point and 12 metres at its lowest. It has a steel frame with lacquered steel-sheet walls and room for about 2,000 spectators, with stands along both long sides of the ice and a cafeteria beside it. Surte BK is the home team.

The first summer bandy school was held here from 11 to 15 August 2008, aimed at boys and girls born between 1993 and 1999. The public can also skate on the ice at set times.
