Alingsås's new ice hall of March 2025, number 393 on the Swedish federation's list
Nolhaga ishall in Alingsås was inaugurated on 22 March 2025, nearly two years to the day after the old ice hall was demolished. It is the 393rd ice hall in the Swedish Ice Hockey Association's count, and it let both the hockey club and the figure skating club move into new premises.
During the two years of construction, Sörhaga/Alingsås Hockey and Alingsås Konståkningsklubb were based in Puahallen in Vårgårda. The new hall has two floors and stands for 500 spectators, with a rink, dressing rooms and storage for the clubs, offices, a gym and warm-up area, a conference room and solar panels on the roof. A member of the federation's board said the hall is smartly built, with plenty of dressing rooms and storage for both hockey and figure skating, a room for homework before training and a media cube in the arena.
The day before the opening, the hockey club's men's team was promoted to Hockeytvåan, so the first weekend in the new hall was also a celebration for the club.
