Berlin's third-largest ice hall, built 1967

The Erika-Heß-Eisstadion in Wedding is the third-largest ice rink hall in Berlin. Completed in 1967 as the Eisstadion Wedding, it was at first roofed but open on all sides and used only for ice sport; it was converted into a multi-purpose hall in 1982/83 and renamed in 1987 after the former Wedding district mayor Erika Heß.

It is the home of the ice-hockey club FASS Berlin, who have played there since 1972. A second ice surface outside the hall is open to the public, and the hall's stand with seats lets it host other events in the off-season. It served as a Covid vaccination centre from January to August 2021.

From October to December 2025 play and training used a temporary ice surface with a mobile cooling plant, smaller than the normal one. Since January 2026 a new refrigeration plant and the regular ice are in operation, and the outdoor surface, closed early in January 2023, has reopened for the first time.
