Worb's rink, long a home of curling, ice stock and hockey
Ice sport has a long tradition in Worb: curling, ice stock and above all hockey have been played on the rink for a long time. The facility has grown step by step and today offers conditions for every kind of ice sport.
The main field covers 2,200 square metres, and beside the 1,800 square metres of the boarded hockey field there is room for ice stock shooting. A separate curling hall with two rinks on 450 square metres of ice completes the Kunsteisbahn Wislepark.
Curling and ice stock are run autonomously by their clubs, while the home hockey clubs, among them HC Wisle, EHC Mirchel, SC Ursellen, EHC Belp, EHC Boll and EHC Worb, hold training and home matches here. External clubs can also rent the hockey facility for training.
