A mostly covered rink of over 1,000 square metres in the Stadtgarten
bonnonIce opens in the Bonn Stadtgarten in November and invites skaters until January. In 2026 it again offers more than 1,000 square metres of ice, and the whole site is mostly roofed, so the frost stays only where it belongs.
Alongside open skating the site has five fully covered Eisstock lanes for company parties, team events and friendly duels, whatever the weather. Skaters who want to improve can sign up for courses for beginners and advanced skaters or choose private lessons, and the online booking system for slots and courses opens on 1 November.
School classes reserve in writing and skate at group rates when the accompanying adult collects the fees in advance. For everyone on the ice the house rules recommend sturdy gloves and a suitable helmet, because the ice is used at the skater's own risk.
