Hélicéa stands in the Parc Mont-Joie at Saint-Martin-Boulogne and belongs to the Communauté d'agglomération du Boulonnais, whose page says the complex welcomes visitors all year round. Beside the pools, spa and fitness room, the rink is described as resolutely playful: it serves learning, ice dancing, skating and BubbleFoot by reservation.
A central ice pad of 1,200 m² is wound around by an ice corridor. On Saturday evenings the rink turns into a nightclub on ice, with a stage, lighting, a sound system and a DJ, and outside summer it stays open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. The centre's own pages add beginners' initiation sessions and bubble football, played inside large air-filled bubbles, for visitors of all ages. The agglomeration lists swimming, ice skating, a spa, a jacuzzi and a cardio area among its many activities.
