Bremen's largest indoor ice surface, run by the Bremer Bäder
The Eissporthalle Paradice in Bremen is a business of the Bremer Bäder and bills itself as the city's largest indoor ice surface. Its new season starts after the summer break with a season-opening Eisdisco hosted by DJ Ruffy.
The hall keeps more than 800 pairs of rental skates ready, and it has a large grandstand with seats and a public changing room with lockers. At the Eisdisco a DJ plays the music, and themed discos and disco lighting create a special event atmosphere on the ice, while the home games of the Weserstars Bremen add ice hockey to the calendar.
Skating courses are offered through clubs rather than by the hall itself. Children under seven must be accompanied by an adult, and children under four cannot take part in the Eisdisco, whose tickets are sold online only.
