Home of the Fischtown Pinguins, with a public season and discos
The Eisarena Bremerhaven at the Stadthalle is where the Fischtown Pinguins play their home games in the Deutsche Eishockey-Liga. The club REV Bremerhaven runs ice hockey, figure skating and cheerleading, with seven youth teams and two men's teams and a women's team taking part in league matches.
Members of the figure-skating club train twice a week under the expert guidance of their coaches. The public season begins in early October, and the first Eisdisco of the season follows later that month.
The arena is accessible: the main entrance is reached after only a few metres, with a level, threshold-free approach, and a lift leads up to the upper foyer level for visitors with limited mobility. Tickets for public skating and the Eisdisco can be bought online, at the Stadthalle ticket centre in advance or at the day box office, and sessions can sell out.
