A hall near Wilhelmshaven open since 2015, home of the hockey club EC Wilhelmshaven-Sande.
Eishalle Sande, near Wilhelmshaven, has been running since 2015. A bistro serves snacks and drinks during the skating sessions, and the hall can take up to 400 people for school outings and larger groups. Classic skating and figure skating, ice-hockey games and the Eisdisco all share the ice, and next to the rink a Pistenbar lets visitors watch the activity on the ice without skating.
The ice-hockey club EC Wilhelmshaven-Sande was founded on 10 November 2015 under the motto "Back to the roots", with the aim of bringing ice hockey back to the region with a focus on young players. Some hobby players have since come together and train almost daily from 19:00, and the club plays its home games in the hall.
Every Saturday the Eisdisco runs with current hits and a laser-light system.
