Two ice halls on the Obere Au: training ice and the EHC Chur stadium
The Trainingseishalle on Chur's Obere Au has one ice surface that can be switched between the European size of 60 by 30 metres and the North American size of 60 by 26 metres. Around it are 25 changing rooms for ice and turf sports, an athletics room of 226 square metres, a gymnastics hall of 65 square metres, a 50-metre sprint track and a sick bay, and a stand with 276 seats. Its operator calls it a modern addition to the Hallenstadion next door.
The Hallenstadion is the home of the EHC Chur ice hockey club and the training and competition venue of the Eisclub Chur. It holds 3,000 spectators. The stadium has an ice surface from September to March, and from April to August its concrete floor is used for other sports.
