Inaugurated in 1994: a 56 by 26 m sheet, 1,200 seats and the home of the Titans de Colmar hockey club
The Patinoire de Colmar was inaugurated in 1994. Its sheet of ice measures 56 m by 26 m and the rink seats 1,200 people. It hosted the 2009 French figure skating championships.
Two clubs are based here: the Hockey Club de Colmar, nicknamed the Titans de Colmar, and the Club d'Enseignement du Patinage Artistique de Colmar, known as CEPARC. The city says both take children from the age of 3 for their first steps on the ice, and the Titans' home matches are played through the year.
The rink also runs events beyond its public sessions. Themed evenings for adults with DJs, from 1980s hits to current music, sit alongside Eisstöck (ice stock) and curling sessions. For children there are special days at Halloween and carnival, with inflatable structures on the ice and a funfair atmosphere.

Several times a year the "matins des oursons" give parents the chance to skate or walk on the ice with their children aged 3 to 5, on a sheet of ice reserved for them, with play workshops suited to toddlers.
