The Eissportzentrum Westfalen serves club athletes, schools and public skaters all year.
The Dortmunder Sportstätten gGmbH runs the Eissportzentrum Westfalen on the Strobelallee, close to the Westfalenhalle and the Signal Iduna Park. It builds and maintains the ice of a figure-skating rink and an ice-hockey rink so that competitive and recreational athletes, and many hundreds of pupils, have the best training conditions all year round.
Clubs and federations based here include ERC Westfalen Kunstlauf, TSC Eintracht Dortmund, Eisadler Dortmund, the Eisstock-Club Dortmund, the Eissport-Verband Nordrhein-Westfalen and the Deutsche Eislauf Union.
All skating fans can learn to skate here or improve their own skills, and the public sessions have no age limit or other conditions. Rental skates are available from shoe size 25 to size 49. Entry to the centre is only allowed with a valid ticket, and the hall also keeps a rental stock of skates.
Admission, rentals and arrival details, researched from official rink information. Source checks stay current for 30 days.
