The home of the Herner EV, billed as the coolest disco in Herne

The Hannibal Arena is the home ground of the Herner EV and describes itself as the home of the coolest disco in Herne. The public ice opens on Saturdays and Sundays, with the Eisdisco taking over on Saturday evening.

Skaters who want to improve can join the figure-skating sessions for beginners and advanced skaters, and the hall offers special arrangements for school classes, clubs, nursery groups and youth centres. Children's birthdays can be celebrated at the arena, and the VIP lounge, which holds up to 150 people and has a fully equipped bar area and a kitchen, can be rented for events.

The whole ice surface can also be hired by clubs, hobby teams and companies, and rental skates are available in sizes 24 to 48.
