A restored spa-park concert shell with a winter rink since 2013

Konzertplatz Weißer Hirsch is a former spa park whose historic concert shell was woken from a long sleep in June 2009, when the operators renovated the whole site with their own funds. What began with an opening barbecue, Walpurgis Night and a beer garden grew into a full summer and winter events calendar, with concerts by acts such as Annett Louisan, Mark Foster and Johannes Oerding.

Since 2013 the site has had a large ice rink, a rustic winter hut and a programme of events under the name Dresdner Winter. The rink advertises real ice (Echteis) on more than 1,250 square metres, with three separate ice-stock lanes of real ice beside it, and it describes itself as Dresden's most romantic natural-ice rink.

The winter programme also lists handmade markets, puppet theatre and a Sunday brunch. No skating courses are planned for the 2026/27 season.
