Halmstad Arena is a multi-area in Halmstad whose name came into use when a new facility was built in 2007-09 and took in the older Sannarpshallen, Sannarpsbadet, Kombihallen and Sannarps IP. It replaced and partly complemented Halmstads Sporthall, which was torn down in 2011. The main building has four full-size sports halls, the largest with retractable stands for 3,880 people at sports events or 4,500 at concerts, plus five smaller special halls and two ice halls with two full-size rinks and a smaller ice rink.
A glass walkway, or piazza, 220 metres long and 8 metres wide runs along the whole front and ties the halls together, and two glass mosaics by Sven Jonson were moved into the entrance hall from the demolished sports hall's stairwell. Public skating is on the ice of hall D and the small ice of hall E, and it is free.
