Built in 1961 and roofed in 1980, the Eishalle Schoren is home to the Swiss League club SC Langenthal.
The Eishalle Schoren was built in 1961 and roofed in 1980. It is the home of the Swiss League club SC Langenthal, whose first team plays its games in the stadium, and also of the club's eleven junior teams and the onyx hockey school, the HC Thunstetten and the EHC Herzogenbuchsee.
The main entrance and the players' dressing rooms were rebuilt in three stages between 2002 and 2005. In 2010 Langenthal's voters approved the financial renovation of the Kunsteisbahn, and since then the city has paid for further adjustments year after year so that the hall meets the requirements of the national league. The stadium has room for 2,723 standing and 1,238 seated spectators.
By day, and above all in the mornings, the hall is used for free skating. The Skating-Club Oberaargau offers figure skating, and the Curling Club Langenthal plays from October to early April.
