The ice hall of Huttwil's non-profit Campus
The ice hall is part of the Campus Perspektiven in Schwarzenbach near Huttwil, which lets any person or organisation rent its facilities for culture, sport or education and so makes the site a meeting place; around 250,000 visitors a year benefit. The operating company is not profit-oriented, and its orientation to the common good is written into its statutes.
The stands hold up to 900 seated and 1,500 standing spectators, and eight dressing rooms serve the ice. The event and culture hall adjoins the ice hall directly.
The Skating Club Huttwil has promoted figure skating here since 2000, hockey is offered on what the campus calls top ice quality, and the Chnebler-Eis sessions invite everyone to play. School sport and public skating always run in parallel.
