Built in 1959, roofed in 1976

The Patinoire d'Yverdon-les-Bains was built in 1959. Its roof was added in 1976, the facades were closed in 1987, and in 1998 the roof was repainted and the building brought up to the standards of the cantonal insurance body.

New changing rooms and a renewal of the technical installations followed in 2004, and in 2026 the compressors, the cooling tower and the control cabinet were replaced. The Hockey Club Yverdon-les-Bains and the Club de Patinage Artistique d'Yverdon-les-Bains are the resident clubs; during the day the ice is used by schools, and at midday and in the evening by the clubs.

The rink closes at 16:00 on 24 and 31 December, stays shut all day on 25 December and 1 January, and opens at 09:30 on 2 January.
