Built in 2007 for amateur skaters

The Parkbad Eishalle, also called the Donaupark-Eishalle, stands on the Untere Donaulände beside the Parkbad. It was built in 2007 and is open mainly to amateur sportspeople; LINZ AG runs it. The older shared hall next door, once the Donauhalle and now the LINZ AG Eisarena, is kept mainly for professionals and events and is home to the EHC Black Wings Linz. Building the new hall cost about 11.6 million euros.

Both halls measure about 60 by 30 metres, and LINZ AG holds public skating in the Parkbad Eishalle while events take place in the Eisarena. Skating courses for beginners are open to children from four and to adults. In winter the hall also hosts disco nights, and Sebastian, the dragon of the Linzer Grottenbahn, skates over the ice handing out small surprises to children.
