A stadium from 1977 with a 1,600-place standing stand added in 2002 and a roof designed by Aleš Burian in 2004
Litomyšl's ice stadium at U Plovárny was built in 1977. A stand for 1,600 standing spectators was added in 2002, and the stadium was roofed in 2004 to a design by the architect Aleš Burian.
In October 2005 the east and south sides were clad and a new stand for 220 spectators, 160 seated and 60 standing, was finished. The two remaining sides were clad in May 2006, one of them with a view of the castle panorama to the west, and a new scoreboard went in at the same time. The cooling of the ice was partly rebuilt that summer.
The home club, Hokejový club Litomyšl, opened its 2026/27 regional-league season here on 20 September 2026, and the stadium is run by the town's service company, Městské služby Litomyšl.
