A real-ice rink inside a fully covered park

Pantropica in Luttelgeest, Flevoland, calls itself a fully covered park where every day is a summer day. From 1 December 2026 to 3 January 2027 it adds a 250 m² rink of real ice, surrounded by thousands of twinkling lights and festive decorations.

The park says visitors can pirouette, skate laps or take their first steps on the ice holding a seal skating aid. Ice hockey skates or double runners in sizes 29 to 48 are lent out free of charge, and the seal aid is free when available.

Skating is open only to visitors who hold a valid park ticket, and tickets for the rink are sold at the entrance of the rink. Racing skates are not allowed on the ice.

Gloves and helmets are compulsory for children up to and including 12, and the helmets are free at the rink. A valid ticket and a time-slot reservation are needed to visit the park, and a free car park lies in front of the entrance.
