A covered rink with 1,800 seats, home of the Aigles de Saint-Gervais, six-time French hockey champions
The municipal rink of Saint-Gervais is a covered rink open to everyone, listed with 1,800 seats. It is one of the home arenas of the Yétis Hockey Club du Mont-Blanc, a club formed from the merger of the Aigles de Saint-Gervais and the Boucs de Megève.
Hockey has deep roots here. The Aigles de Saint-Gervais won six French titles, in 1969, 1974, 1975, 1983, 1985 and 1986. The two clubs merged for good in 2002, and the new Hockey Club Mont-Blanc started in Division 1.
Figure skating has a place on the ice too: almost every year the rink has held a gala with champions such as Brian Joubert, Olivier Schoenfelder and Isabelle Delobel. For younger skaters, the Jardin des Glaces runs on Tuesdays in the winter and summer holidays, with play courses led by Charlotte the marmot.
