Home of Ski IL Ishockey since 1987, with a skating school and a café
Ski Ishall is the home of Ski IL Ishockey. The club was founded in the 1950s, and the hall, finished in 1987, gave it the chance to build a broad and long-term youth programme. Its café, Kafé Blueline, has been opening from 17:00 on weekdays, 08:00 on Saturdays and 10:00 on Sundays, with closing times depending on what is on the ice.
Today the club has teams from Old Boys down to the youngest group aged 6-7, and says it has members from the whole Follo region and more than 400 active children and young people across its skating and hockey school and age-group teams. The school starts again on Saturday 10 October, and a camp led by Christian Dahl-Andersen, founder of CDA Hockey and a former professional player with Frisk Asker and Stavanger Oilers, was announced for the autumn break.
