A covered full-size rink that opened in 2010
Lodowisko Misiałek in Tarnowo Podgórne was announced to open on 12 November 2010 as a new recreation and sports facility. The main part of its sports hall is a full-size covered ice rink.
The hall has a light steel frame and a permanent roof made of thermally insulating materials. Large side windows let daylight onto the ice during the day. The ventilation was designed to carry off a large amount of moisture, and the rental counter holds almost 600 pairs of branded skates.
The season runs from November to March. The rink limits the number of skaters on the ice to 300 at a time, and the surface is renewed with a resurfacing machine every 1.5 hours. In 2024 the rink received the title of Recommended Tourist Attraction of Poznań County.
