Opened in May 2022 beside the Daugavas stadium, with two sheets and up to 600 seats
Daugavas ledus halle in central Rīga was opened in May 2022, continuing the reorganisation of the national culture and sports centre Daugavas stadions. It has two ice sheets for hockey, figure skating, curling, short track and para ice hockey, with stands for up to 600 spectators at the B sheet.
The hall offers modern changing rooms for athletes, coaches and referees and the technical support for competitions and training, and it is open every day from 6:00 to 23:00.
The two sheets are used for private group training, from small young enthusiasts to professional adult and senior sport, and a team event or school excursion can add the ice to its programme.
Public skating sessions are organised every weekend, in two kinds: classic skating for recreation, and skating with hockey sticks for dynamic training.
