Spånga IP in Solhem is owned by the City of Stockholm and includes an ice hall, a football hall, pitches, a bandy pitch and athletics tracks. Before it was built the site held Sweden's first radio broadcasting station, which was pulled down when work on the grounds began in 1971.
An artificial-ice bandy pitch with a stand for 1,000 people was built in 1977 and opened in December 1977 with an international match, Sweden against the Soviet Union.
The ice hall has a stand for 850 people, seated and standing, and match lighting. The grounds are used by Spånga IS FK, Spånga IS Hockey, Spånga/Bromstens BK (bandy) and Djurgårdens IF's men's bandy side. The attendance record is 3,057, when Spånga IS hosted Hammarby in 1993.
