A hall rebuilt in stages, with a new roof in 2015
The winter stadium in Uherský Brod serves mainly the hockey club HC Uherský Brod, a figure skating club and the wider public of the region. Its ice surface measures 58.93 by 29 metres, and the hall holds 2,500 people standing and 695 seated.
The building was rebuilt step by step between 2009 and 2012: the changing rooms and sanitary facilities, the cladding of the building and the whole hot-water and water distribution. A new roof followed in September 2015. In 2019 an extension added a new building with more changing rooms for the hockey players, and the machine room and cooling system were rebuilt completely, including the pipes that run under the ice surface.
The stadium offers ice from September to the end of March. Outside that main season, from April to August, an inline skating surface is installed in the hall.
