The largest indoor ice rink of central Netherlands, in the Jaarbeurs

The Utrechtse Winterspektakel turns the Koninklijke Jaarbeurs, right next to Utrecht Centraal station, into a 20,000 m² winter world, and invites visitors to skate on what it calls the largest indoor ice rink of central Netherlands. The organisers describe it as a promise to turn cold winter days into warm memories, say they choose genuine experiences, real ice and real connection, and add that nobody should be left out when winter arrives.

More than 35 activities and attractions share the halls with the rink: highlights include curling, a winter slide, a snowball fight, a silent après-ski, a food square and fairground rides, with live performances in the Magical Music Theatre. Local artists and theatre makers are given a stage, and after the success of last year the themed evenings return.
