The only rink in Lincolnshire

Grimsby Ice Rink is the only indoor ice rink in Lincolnshire, tucked behind Grimsby Leisure Centre near the town centre and Cleethorpes. A registered charity took over the day-to-day running and upkeep from the council on 1 September 2017.

It is one of the smaller rinks in the country, which the rink says suits show skating: the Grimsby Ice Skating Club puts on its shows, galas and competitions, and an Ice Theatre group is usually working on a routine. The club's Wednesday-night session is for skaters who have completed Skate UK level 5.

Coaching follows the Skate UK levels 1 to 8 of British Ice Skating, and an invitation-only Rise and Rising Academy is for skaters who show great commitment to and promise in the sport.
