Indoor arena with a covered outdoor pavilion rink

Hasse Arena opened in 2007, and Lakeville Learn to Skate was established that same year; its lessons still run at Hasse year-round. Heritage Figure Skating Club trains here too, Hasse being one of the arenas across Lakeville, Apple Valley, Rosemount and Farmington where the club conducts its programs, and the club staged its annual ice show in March 2026.

The Allina Health Pavilion started in spring 2021, when the Lakeville Hockey Association approached Lakeville Arenas about a simpler seasonal outdoor rink. The association and Heritage Figure Skating Club both agreed to partner on the project and help fund it. The plans called for large windscreens on the north and west sides and sunscreens on the south side to keep winter sun off the ice. The project also gave Hasse a new ice plant, replacing a system whose R22 refrigerant is being phased out and can no longer be produced; the plant alone cost roughly $2 million.

In October 2024 the City of Lakeville, Lakeville Arenas and Allina Health announced the naming-rights agreement that gave the pavilion its name. Today the pavilion is a covered outdoor sheet at Hasse Arena that provides ice time to the hockey association and surrounding communities.
