Grimsby's twin-pad arena, rebuilt around its ice

The Peach King Centre is Grimsby's twin-pad arena at 162 Livingston Avenue. In March 2025 the Town announced that Major Refrigeration Ltd., a company based in Grimsby, had secured the naming rights, so the building is now the Major Refrigeration Peach King Centre.

The two pads are the Norstar Arena (East) and the UrbanLink Arena (West), both full-size surfaces. The expansion grew out of the 2019 Parks, Recreation and Culture Master Plan and broke ground in May 2024. It added a dividable double gymnasium, an indoor walking track, community rooms, a fitness centre and a youth room around the ice, and it improved the West Pad dressing rooms.

The ice kept running through the work: the building closed to the public on May 13, 2024, and reopened in September 2024 for ice-only operations. The finished centre had its official opening on January 24, 2026.
