A 1997 Delaware Valley complex grown to four rinks, with 180-plus hockey teams and 400 figure skaters.
IceWorks opened in Aston in October 1997 as a two-rink building and has grown into a four-rink complex with three NHL-size rinks and one Olympic-size surface, plus dedicated hockey and figure skating training spaces and the Puck & Pint Gastropub.
More than 180 hockey teams use the ice, from youth and school programs to juniors, college and adult leagues, and Flyers Hall of Famer Jim Watson is on the coaching staff. The complex is also the headquarters of the IceWorks Skating Club, a non-profit whose more than 400 figure skaters train under national, international and Olympic-level coaches.
IceWorks has hosted USA Curling Nationals, US Speed Skating Nationals and US Figure Skating Eastern Sectionals. The skating club stages the Philadelphia Summer Championships here, most recently from August 12 to 15, 2026, along with its annual ice show.
