Sherwood Ice Arena, a Winterhawks rink since 2024
Winterhawks ICE Center – Sherwood is the former Sherwood Ice Arena, which Winterhawks ICE Center acquired in 2024 to keep the rink open and its local ice sports programming running. As late as February 2020 the arena's owner was Roy MacMillian, photographed on the ice with club skaters, and the business described its purpose as a fun, family-oriented atmosphere built on customer service.
The rink is one of two Winterhawks ICE Center locations, with Beaverton, and both run hockey, figure skating, public skating and community programming. Sherwood is the home rink of the Carousel Figure Skating Club, whose skaters train here, and its skating programs cover all ages and ability levels. Under the Winterhawks name the facility now supports recreational, developmental and competitive skaters and players from across the region.
