A non-profit civic-center rink open since 1992

The Greater Canandaigua Civic Center opened in 1992 and is run as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, an ice arena and community events center rather than a city rink. Its single sheet is Ingle Arena. The same building is billed as Ontario County's Event Center: 17,000 square feet of unobstructed floor with seating for 700 to 1,000, used for dozens of events in the off-season.

Hockey fills the calendar from November through February, when Canandaigua Braves games are played here. The Canandaigua Academy varsity team has played several of its home games at the Civic Center, including on its 2023-24 schedule, and those games have drawn standing-room-only crowds. The rink has a long-standing partnership with Canandaigua Knights Youth Hockey, whose programs run from 4-year-old beginners to 18-year-old travel players, and in November 2024 the Knights' 10U travel team organized a Hockey Fights Cancer charity game on this ice.

In September 2018, as part of an expansion, the Civic Center debuted a new Zamboni along with new tiled locker-room floors, new locker-room doors and a rear entrance for vendors using the Event Center in the off-season. Rock the Rink, an evening open skate for older skaters with an audio-visual show, returned for a second session in November 2023.
