Home of the PJHL's Mooretown Flags

The Moore Sports Complex in Mooretown houses two ice pads and a pool. As late as 2019 the aging building still made its ice with a direct ammonia system, one of the last arenas in the country with that gas circulating in pipes beneath the ice surface. In 2022 the township replaced the outdated ammonia system, added a new second ice pad and renovated the other.

The complex is the home rink of the Mooretown Flags, a Junior C club founded in 1971 that has won one Clarence Schmalz Cup as All-Ontario champions and counts NHL player Brian Dobbin among its alumni. While the 2022 work was finished, the Flags played their first six home games of that season at Walpole Island, and they marked their return in November 2022 with a 4-1 win over Amherstburg in front of 269 fans.

In July 2025 the province committed funding for further work on the building, including HVAC upgrades, improvements to the pool area and new roofing.
