Home ice for the Brampton Canadettes Girls Hockey Association

Century Gardens Recreation Centre in Brampton, Ontario, has two ice rinks inside a community centre that was renovated and enlarged from 2007. By that year the building was more than 30 years old and had never had a single renovation. Construction started in May 2007 on a CA$16.1 million, 110,000-square-foot renovation that added a second ice pad and larger change rooms, built to reopen the centre in the fall of 2008.

The Brampton Canadettes Girls Hockey Association uses both sheets: Rink 1 is one of its venues and Rink 2 hosts its house league. When the Canadettes streamed their tournament games in April 2022, both Century Gardens pads were among the rinks carried. The centre has also hosted the Khalsa Cup, a four-day charity ball hockey tournament that in 2022 drew 18 teams and more than 400 players.

The site is changing again. As of April 2026, construction was ongoing on the Century Gardens Youth Hub, which replaces the 3,200-square-foot lawn bowling club with a 12,500-square-foot facility for e-sports and creative spaces.
