Named for Chinguacousy Township's 1969-73 deputy reeve

Terry Miller Recreation Centre is a City of Brampton arena named for Terry Miller, who served as Deputy Reeve of Chinguacousy Township from 1969 to 1973 and then as a City of Brampton and Peel Regional Councillor from 1973 to 1979. The City named the centre in his honour in recognition of his contributions to Brampton.

The building is a single-sheet arena, one ice rink with two community meeting rooms beside it. It is one of the older centres in Brampton's recreation stock: in November 2017, city reports suggested closing at least one of the old centres, naming Howden, Balmoral and Terry Miller among them. Terry Miller stayed open, and the City still lists the building with its one ice rink and meeting rooms today.

The Brampton Canadettes list Terry Miller Recreation Centre as a venue for both their Developmental and Competitive streams, so both its developmental and its competitive teams play on this sheet. The Ontario West Table Tennis Association also names Terry Miller Rec Centre as one of its venues.
