Public skating at Gage Park Skating Trail: the next 7 days
Currently out of season The City of Brampton's outdoor skating page (last updated April 2026) says its outdoor skating rinks are closed for the season and lists this rink as closed; the City says rinks may also close for weather or maintenance, and no 2026/27 opening date is posted yet. Skates & rentals
Skate and helmet rentals and sharpening are offered on Thursday and Friday evenings from 5 to 9:45 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 9:45 p.m., weather permitting, by a third-party provider; additional fees apply and skate aids are free of charge.
The City's rink table lists posted hours for this rink (10 a.m. to 10 p.m.) and asks skaters to check the rink status before visiting; it describes no booking, so skating is drop-in during those hours.
The City strongly recommends CSA-approved hockey helmets with full facemasks for all skaters at its outdoor rinks; carrying babies or young children on the ice is not allowed.
