Three regulation rinks west of Chicago, opened in early 2006 and the Huskies Hockey Club's home ice since then
Canlan Sports Romeoville opened in early 2006 as the International Ice Centre, a multi-sport building about 45 miles west of Chicago. The Huskies Hockey Club moved into the new rink that year, when it was home to as many as 38 Huskies teams.
The building holds three regulation-size hockey rinks, with mezzanines between the sheets where players warm up and plenty of seating with views of the ice. Hockey is not the only sport that has been played here: in 2013 the arena became home to the Kane County Dawgs of the Continental Indoor Football League, and the Chicago Jr. Bulldogs, a Tier III junior team in the North American 3 Hockey League, played their home games at Canlan Ice Sports Romeoville.
The Huskies still call it their home rink, 25 minutes from almost anywhere in Chicago's western and southern suburbs. In the summer of 2025 the club formed a partnership with Canlan Sports to secure its long-term future in Romeoville.
